Teran Barrique

Wine made from the indigenous red Istrian grape Teran. The maturation process in barrique barrels lasted for 3 years, resulting in a wine with a lovely dark ruby color. On the nose, notes of ripe sour cherry and dried plum are interwoven with hints of smoke, leather, and coffee. The palate reveals a full and complex character. Powerful and imposing, this is a wine for long aging.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C.

Pairing: In terms of food and wine pairing, this type of wine calls for complex meat dishes such as pljukanci with boškarin sauce or gnocchi with venison goulash.
