Biska

Biska is an autochthonous Istrian brandy made from komovica, mistletoe, and several types of herbs. It first appeared in Istria about 2,000 years ago. The name “biska” refers to mistletoe (Viscum album), which has been renowned for its medicinal properties since ancient times. In Istria, biska is made exclusively from brown mistletoe that grows on oak. Pervino biska has a refined caramel color and a fine, pleasant aroma.
